Somebody complained about credit card companies calling random people in the company asking them for what they want. This reminds me of some similar conversations with these people in the good old days when I was in 30C. I used to start with such interrogation myself until I got bored of it and then started with a variation.

Actually we say that software and BPO is also producing jobs for others, eg for countless drivers of company shuttles and cabs. This is true, there is no doubt that they are better off employed than looking around aimlessly for jobs. However perhaps their circumstances could be a bit better.

The closest I’ve come to actually following a serial is undoubtably Muktha by T.N Seetharam. His tranquility in the most adverse circumstances is something I find pretty inspiring; I’d even say he’s a kind of role model.
