off late…

Off late I just haven’t been able to make the time for blogging – it seems surprisingly elusive! I have a lot of things in queue but somehow the queue is just becoming longer! Also I’m trying to be more of a reader nowadays than a writer, and have been reading other’s blogs/comments (many that I’ve blogrolled here). Also I have a feeling I’ve written too many unnecessary things here and have diluted the main ideas I’d like to share with the world… and am speculating about any fresh approach to writing.

[Particularly off late have been browsing through Suresh’s site… I guess he has written a lot of ideas I have had somewhere in their mind themselves but cannot articulate completely, and in some posts I find some pieces which fill in some gaps (and in some other posts I find some completely radical new ideas that don’t quite fit into my world-view!) But somehow I’ve ended up feeling that its my own ‘other site’ and have a lot more comments to add there at the risk of spamming his site – but luckily he dosen’t mind 😉 ]

  • blogging from Firefox

Mesmerized by the number of plugins and customization available for Firefox. And in my new job that I’ve started this week (more about that shortly), I’m not tied to IE anymore and so spent more time exploring Firefox. Installed some of them and WOW now my browser is far beyond a mere browser – in…

  • some links…

Will resume posting again sooner or later. I do have plenty to write about but somehow… you know… same old story… temporarily somewhat over-entangled in the Work@ElectronicsCity-Commute-Malleswaram-HouseholdStuff loop… For now here are some links that I’d come across a long time ago (except the first 2 which I’m yet to read fully) but reminded by…

  1. well, dear Sanjayavare…
You mentioned about the factor of time that reminds me the words of the genius Sir Bertrand Russell: He said: It is silly that man says how to kill the time whereas the time itself is killing him!
Indeed, with each passing second, we step towards the eventual ultimate that may be natural or accidental.
As for your notions that you have scribbled on irrelevant topics and issues, nothing is unwanted. At one time or ther other, their worth is realised. For instance, your mentionng “off late… not finding ‘Time’ did prompt me to recall Bertrand Russell’s wisdom. And that very term time has been relevant in your two other featuers: Gold Fish and the Ganesha Temple Utsav in Malleswaram.
Talking of time, I am prompted once again to recollect a Tamilian jargon: Eda, Eda, Eppo Eppo Eppadi Eppadi Nadukanama, Aad, Aad Appo Appo Apdida Nadakunam.
Whatever is destine to happen ought to happen. This philosophy of life was well sung by Doris Day in the film The Man Who Knew Too Much. Yes, that number was Que Sera Sera… What eve will be.. The future is not to be seen, Que Sera Sera..
