Watch for the cormorants at Sankey Lake… they usually line up near the north eastern shore. This was taken using a friend’s 75-300 lens mounted on a Canon 350D, handheld. Earlier in the evening, a passer-by photographer had advised me to lean against something while handholdng a long tele-photo lens, and so leaning against the rails helped in taking steadier shots. Its quite hard to take good unshaken shots with a high zoom lens (without an image stabiliser). Mr. Bird Brain advises shutters speed 300 or above.

Instead of pecking order maybe here we have landing order! 😉
