The majestic monument known all over the world as the symbol of Eternal
Love. I had had my doubts whether it was all just hype, but they vaporized when
I stood in front of it. Spent an entire day just soaking in its beauty,
photographing it from every possible angle. Apart from the foreigners, I was
surrounded by people from all over India – speaking all kinds of
languages… Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Kannada, Bengali and Malayalam were those
I could recognize. It was a beautiful display of national integration, so
many people from all over India coming to visit the magnificent structure
that was common to all – just like the love that it symbolizes.

  1. great pics, sanju. the penultimate snap is unique. not seen any book or over the net which has a snap showing the entrance from this angle. were these taken from the camera which fell from the window sill?

  2. Thanks a lot Vani, Bellur!

Hmm so far I’ve had two digital cameras Bellur, the Olympus D-460 (with which the above snaps were taken) and currently the Olympus C-750. I’d dropped the Olympus C-750 from a 1 foot high table. Don’t remember dropping the earlier one!

Also nowadays using the mobile phone Motorola v3i as a camera more and more!
