general tips while forwarding emails
Some simple suggestions about forwarding any mail you may feel is worth forwarding:
- Use BCC while copying unrelated people.
- Remove previous addresses of people previously in the forward chain so that somewhere down the line their ids dosen’t get collected as spam.
- Trim out redundant text like ads, etc and preferably also lines that say inane chain mail stuff like forward to everyone you know “else you’ll get bad luck”/”show you’re a true patriot”/any other nonsense psychological gimmick attempting to gain immortality for the email! 😉
All this takes less than 10 seconds before you hit the Send button 🙂
