what the hibiscus said

“I have one major rule: everybody is right. More specifically, everybody – including me – has some important pieces of the truth, and all of those pieces need to be honored, cherished, and included in a more gracious, spacious, and compassionate embrace.”

~ Ken Wilber

Was admiring its beauty when I also noticed something more… plenty of buds, and plenty of other old flowers all withered almost falling off…

Though in silence, it felt this plant was in its own way saying something to me: a very fundamental truth (obvious but and easily forgotten!) “some day you were a bud, some day you’re a flower, and some day you’re going to wilt and fall off…” 🙂
