jaanapada jaatre in namma bengaLooru

namma bengaLoorinalli Jaanapada Jaatre. I think you all must have heard about what I’m talking about !!!!!! There is a whole Jaanapada feast arranged for all of us in front of Vidhana Soudha (opposite High Court), tomorrow and day after. The event starts at 5.30 pm with a SURPRISE BANG inauguration. There are beautiful stalls of Handloom and handicrafts awiting out there. Specially for people who are new to BengaLooru, this event is one of its kind and is celebrated at such a ‘large scale’ in BengaLooru for the FIRST TIME.

And if you are expecting pizzas and burgers out there…………. Be sure to be disappointed coz, you will find only kajjaya, akki roTTi, raagi roTTi and purely stuff which you don’t find everyday. Im sure its going to tickle your tastebuds… And if you are waiting to see a disco, well!!! Im sure you would shake a leg with dollukuNita, hooja kuNita, paTTada kuNita, veeragaase, kamsaaLe, hulivesha, and many many more dance forms which you may not even be aware of. Trust me, its gonna get up and make you dance J

If you are wondering how much this is going to cost you, then it is ABSOLUTELY FREE, no tickets. The only thing which is expected out of you is get up, scream, whistle, clap and have the time of your life.

Oh forgot the main thing. The Program starts at 5.30pm on Saturday and Sunday, 14 th and 15 th of October. This happens in front of Vidhana Soudha. So banni enjoy maaDi, and get all your friends who are new to BengaLooru, as this is not an event which you would see everday J
