This was a real gem on sampada… at first I had a [totally baseless] assumption that the interview might be about politics or something (and boring)… (The writeup says: “ಸಿರಿಸಂಪಿಗೆಯ ಕವಿ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ ಕಂಬಾರರನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.” – ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನಂತ ಮುಠ್ಠಾಲ್ರೂ ಇರ್ತ್ತಾರೆ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ – ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿರ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ… 😳 ) …but anyway… the podcasted interview on the contrary turned out to be quite involving! This gentleman has some excellent ideas…

“ಜಾನಪದವನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೃತಿಗಳ ಕಸುವಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಜನಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾವ್ಯ ರಚಿಸಿದವರು ಕಂಬಾರರು. ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಶ್ವ ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಕಂಬಾರರು ಈಗ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಸದಸ್ಯರು.

– ಎರಡನೆಯ ಸಂಚಿಕೆ – ಕಂಬಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ

ಅವರ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಕಲಿಯಲು ತುಂಬಾ ಇದೆ… ಅವರ unique ideas [eg: his holistic integrated view of art] ನನಗೆ ತುಂಬ ಹಿಡಿಸಿದವು (ಪದೆ ಪದೆ ಕೇಳಿದೆ :-)).

– “ಕಲೆ ಜೀವನದ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬ” … ಇದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತುಂಬ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ
– “ಅನುಭವವೇ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಹೊರತು ಭೌಧಿಕತೆ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಭೌಧಿಕತೆಗೆ ಅರ್ಥಗಳಿರುತ್ತಾವೆ, ಅನುಭವವಿರೊಲ್ಲ”
– “creativity ನಾಶವಾದರೆ ನೀವು ಮನುಷ್ಯರೇಂದ್ರಿ???”

The earlier (first) interview was with ಪೂರ್ಣಚಂದ್ರ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿ…

ಅವರ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಮನಮುಟ್ಟಿದವು… ಎಷ್ಟು sincereಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ… political beaurocracy ಎಷ್ಟು hypocriticಆಗಿದೆ ಅಂತ ನನಗೆ ಅನ್ನಸ್ತು 🙁

ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿದ್ದಾವೆ… ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವರೆ ಹೂವಿನ ಗಿಡ ಇದೆ ಮೊಡಲನೆಯ ಸಲ ನೋದಿದ್ದೇನೆ… idea ಮತ್ತು ಗಿಡ – ಎರಡು ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿದ್ದಾವೆ!
